Shih Ching Ju said:-

I am 22 years of age, a native of Pen Tu District; my father Yu Ch'ien is dead; my mother's family name was Feng. I have a brother and am the junior of the two, and we live (together) at Kao She (the High Temple) in the Faiao Pei Chih Street. In the 8th moon of last year I removed to Macao and resided there at No. 73 in the Ho Lan Tuan Street. I am a student and have inherited 5 houses, used as shops near the Red Temple in the South Suburb as well as 1 ch'ing 50 mow of land at Pai Sha.

On 8 October I went to live with Sung Shao Tung in the Hon Lon Fang, and on 25th October Sung Shao Tung smuggled some dynamite into Canton by the S.S. Kiang Tung in all 50 packets of these Sung Shao Tung concealed 10 in the house at the Hon Lon Fang, burying it at a depth of 5 feet. On the evening of 27 October he met a train of white tape chemically treated and tied it to the end of a joss-stick, waiting for the stick to burn down to the tape and so conduct the fire (to the dynamite).

On 28 October I met Sung Shao Tung; he said he wanted to go to Singapore, and told me to go back to Macao. Before our parting Sung Shao Tung said that if at a future time there was anything to do we could meet at Macao.
